Scotch™ Electrical Insulating Sealers harden into a flexible, clear, acrylic resin based insulating film. Avaliable in clear (1601), red (1602), black (1603) and grey (1604).
For an insulating and covering paint, use Scotch® 1601 Sealer Clear. This sealer is based on alkyd resin and ‘hardens’ into a flexible and resistant film, with excellent adhesion to most common surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic, wood, etc. Scotch® 1601 is resistant to UV, acids, oil and alkalis. It’s moisture and weatherproof in addition to having high dielectric strength.
